PVCU BAY WINDOWS

All bay windows are fully reinforced with metal inserts for maximum strength. Corner posts and poles have jacking systems to take weight from the window frames Plates sit under the sill onto the brick below. The pole carries through the sill and up to a plate that is secured to the lintel or head support above the window. Load bearings and strength of replacement windows is an area that falls under current FENSA guidelines in the local area. Local council insists upon suitable bay jacking.

We are pleased and proud to be able to offer a maintenance free, affordable alternative to timber Victorian sliding box sash windows in the form of PVCu box sashes. With all the benefits of modern PVCu and all the charm and character of traditional Timber sliding box sashes.

The renaissance sliding sash window uses a unique profile which is totally new to the window industry, the only sliding sash to have fully concealed gaskets- so you can see more of what you want and less of what you don’t.

With an inward tilting facility to all sashes, all external surfaces are easily accessible for easy cleaning.

QUALITY ASSURED

Designed to provide optimum strength, superior thermal properties and excellent performance all windows are produced to ISO 9001:2000 accreditation and glazed units carry the BS EN 1279/2 kitemark.

OPTIONS AND FINISHES

• Astragal bars surface mounted to both sides with a white spacer bar. Available as a single bar or grid in 18mm,
   25mm or 35mm bar widths.
• Georgian fret bar fitted between the two sealed unit panes provide traditional feature yet easy cleaning inside and
    out.
• Diamond or square leads applied both side of the exterior pane adds character and style.
• Obscured glazing patterns for bathrooms, toilets and other areas where privacy is required.
• Woodgrain finishes for those who prefer a timber appearance, a deep rich mahogany and light oak finish
    is available. Finishes can be mixed to give a woodgrain exterior with white interior.
• Choice of finishing trims to really complement your windows. We offer fully sculptured architraves to retain the
    traditional character of timber.

PVCU DOORS

PVCU doors are available in many options:

All PVCu doors work primarily in the same way. The main difference is in the locking, which changes when dealing with Front or Entrance doors. All PVCu doors have an outer frame. This provides a weatherproof seal on all sides to protect you from the elements. There are different thresholds (or bottom frame details) available to provide differing levels of up-stand to your door frame. We will generally try to provide you with the lowest, taking

into account your existing internal floor levels. Doors come in many different designs and styles depending on location within the house.
