FLUSH CASEMENT WINDOWS
Flush casement windows are characterized by openers that close into the frame and finish flush with the external face of the window. Most older period properties dating back from the 1930’s are typical to this style. Conservation area dwellings and properties of historic importance have had to call in expensive and exclusive joiners to replicate this style of window in the past, now you can complement the traditional styling with modern living requirements for an energy efficient and secure home.

STORMPROOF WINDOWS
Stormproof windows are a later invention to the flush casement and were first introduced in the fifties. Modern PVCu windows have been modeled on the stormproof window which is still popular today. With the glazed sashes seated over the external face of the frame, they allow for a slimmer depth of frame and marginally more area visible per window whilst providing a second weatherproof seal from the overlapped sash.

TIMBER BOX SASH
With period reproduction as the major design strategy, these vertical sliding windows will truly complement your home. Working from original build quality developed by Wren through the late Georgian period and later with the Victorians and Edwardians, and marrying this with modern glazing requirements, these windows really do provide you with the best of both worlds. Using the traditional weights and pulleys (upgraded to a brass chain rather than cord which stretches and breaks) these windows are perfectly balanced for easy use.
